BIZStreet,
Greater Spokane Incorporated's
Small Business Program, exists to make sure you have the very best resources and referrals to help your business succeed from day one.

The BIZStreet Resource Center is part of Greater Spokane Incorporated, but you don't need to be a member to take advantage of our services.  Better yet, most of what we offer is free.  At BIZStreet, our purpose is to save you time.  Money.  And mis-steps.  We do that by ongoing research of our own.  Resources which we think are promising are reviewed and held to standards of accountability before we ever recommend them to you.

Come in today to check us out and see what we have to offer you and your business!  We're located at 801 W. Riverside, Spokane, Suite 240; p: (509) 459-4118.

Grow Your Business at BIZStreet

from Dustin Woodhead, BIZStreet Resource Center Coordinator

After working at BIZStreet the past nine months, I have absorbed a wealth of knowledge with regard to starting a business and helping established businesses grow into successful companies.  At BIZStreet we provide businesses with tools to help facilitate growth and look towards the future.  Below are some of the main points I have learned during my tenure with BIZStreet that can help keep your business on track through those tough growth periods.

  • Review your business plan to see if your projections are correct.  Make any necessary changes to your plan and constantly check and update it.
  • Explore and research other available markets where you could sell your product.  Narrowing your focus too much can limit your company's ability to identify and seize new available opportunities.
  • Use your current supplies and skills to produce a new product or complimentary product to expand into a different market.
  •  Form a partnership with a company who offers complimentary products or services and help one another grow together utilizing your different skills and expertise.
  • Apply for a government contract - small businesses can grow dramatically by receiving even just one contract through the government.
By following some or all of these ideas your business will surely be on the right path to profitable growth.  For more assistance or help in growing your business come check us out at the BIZStreet Resource Center.
